The site logo is made up of the triquetra and the cross. The triquetra depicts the trinity; the triune (three-in-one) God who exists as a single community, yet is revealed as three distinct persons. So, we say that God can be known as one (in community) and three (in personhood)... no contradiction! The triquetra conveys both the unity and diversity of God, since the single strand is "intra-woven" to form three distinct entities. It is no surprise that the unity and diversity of our universe can be easily accounted for as an expression of God's triune nature, despite being recognised, appreciated and investigated without reference to God. The three persons are disclosed to us (in the Gospel narratives and Epistles) as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The cross is located in no particular section of the triquetra to connote Jesus' ownership of the divine dignity, majesty, and sovereignty of God - Jesus is God crucified! The true nature of God cannot be determined by rational thought or faith - a special revelation is required. However, although special, this revelation is not out-of-reach but is accessible on a global scale... the Bible is the all-time best seller. Likewise, the divinity of Jesus is not self-evident and therefore must be revealed to us. His participation in the divine essence, both before and after his condescension, is described in Philippians 2:5-11.....

Paul's Covert Use of Scripture
Paul's Covert Use of Scripture

Have the same attitude as Christ Jesus, who, although He continuously existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God something to be exploited for His own advantage, but He emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-slave, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, that at the name that belongs to Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
